1. The two parts of iron lining plate and friction material make up the brake shoe. Never wait until the friction material is polished before replacing the brake shoe. The thickness of the new piece is 14 mm, and the thickness of the replacement is 7 mm, including the thickness of the iron lining plate of more than 3 mm and the thickness of the friction material of nearly 4 mm. Some vehicles have a brake shoe reminder function. Once the wear limit of the brake shoe is reached, the meter will alert you to replace the brake shoe. Once the brake shoes are unusable, they must be replaced immediately. Even if they can still be used, it will affect the safety of driving.
2. If possible, replace the spare brake pads provided by the original manufacturer, so that the braking effect between the brake pads and the brake disc is better, and the wear is relatively small.
3. After the brake shoe is replaced, you must remember to step on the brake and try it to eliminate the gap between the shoe and the brake disc and prevent accidents.
4. After the brake shoe is replaced, it needs to run in for 200 kilometers to achieve the ideal braking effect. The newly replaced shoe should be driven carefully.
